Příručka Úvod do lingvistiky a lingvistické bohemistiky je primárně určen pro studenty prvního ročníku bakalářského studia oboru český jazyk a literatura a představuje doprovodný materiál ke stejnojmenné přednášce. Jejím cílem je zprostředkovat znalost alespoň některých důležitých lingvistických pojmů-termínů, se kterými se studenti budou setkávat i v průběhu dalšího studia bohemistiky, a podat přehled vybraných koncepcí jazyka a principů jeho zkoumání. V centru výkladu stojí především obecné otázky lingvistiky. Zřetel k bohemistice se projevuje hlavně v tom, že tyto otázky jsou – tam, kde je to možné – dokládány a rozvíjeny na českém jazykovém materiálu a na výsledcích, k nimž dospěla česká lingvistika. The presented textbook is intended primarily for the students in the first year of study of the Bachelor’s programme in Czech Language and Literature as supplementary material to the lecture series of the same name. It aims to present at least some of the most important linguistic terms and notions, those that the students will encounter throughout their study of Czech studies, and outline selected conceptions of the language and the principles of its research. The exposition primarily focuses on general issues in linguistics. The emphasis on Czech studies is manifested mainly in documenting and developing these issues using Czech language material and the results that Czech linguistics have achieved.
