The Italian Futurist Filippo Tommaso Marinetti regarded Aldo Molinari’s 1914 movie Mondo Baldoria (Revelry world) as an illicit attempt to express the spirit of Futurism. In the article presented here, Marinetti attacked the film as an act of exploitation. He also regarded another film, Aldo Palazzeschi’s Il controdolore (The antidote to pain), as deriving inspiration from Futurism in an unauthorized way.
