Apostoly Altaia (Apostles of the Altai) is an account of Russian Orthodox Church missionary work in the Altai (or Altay) region of Siberia in the late 19th century. The book was written in honor of Macarius (born Mikhail Andreevich Nevsky, 1835‒1926), one of the most important missionaries in the Altai Territory during this period, and much of the text is about him and his work.
